Quickdraw is excited to announce the first ever RAT TRAP, a monthly drop-in session where anyone and everyone is invited to come learn about a featured animation technique, spend some time playing around with it, and to make some animation with other enthusiastic folks! Sessions are led by experienced animators and enthusiasts and are a great way to generate ideas or to whet your animation appetite.

at Quickdraw Animation Society (201 – 351 11th Ave SW).
$10 suggested donation, all ages and abilities welcome.

Rat Trap 1.0 will be held in commemoration of the late animator Ray Harryhausen (responsible for the monsters of King Kong, Jason and the Argonauts, and The Lost World, to name a few). The session will focus on dappling in Dynamation, a stop-motion technique RH invented. It’s gonna be great, gang!
