WHO ARE WE?

HeckYa My Buds is a Calgary/Lethbridge based production company currently at work on a Telus Storyhive funded documentary, as well as a 360 immersive video experience. We are looking for help to wrap up our 360 animation, and would love to hire talented artists who are familiar in 3D animation and programs such as Maya or Unity.

Term of contract will be 1 month, honorarium payment based on experience.

WANTED: 3D ANIMATION ASSISTANT

What will the job look like:
•Working alongside animation director
•Producing short, linkable animations for use in unity
•Cleaning up rough, blocked out animations

We are looking for:
•Familiar with Maya, 1-2 years experience
•Training or equivalent experience in 3D animation
•Access to Maya LT
•Familiarity with Blender or Unity and asset
•Calgary or Alberta based is a plus

WANTED: 3D TEXTURE ARTIST/UNITY COMPOSITOR

Looking for someone to help us sculpt a nished product in the last phase of our animated production

What will the job look like:
•Creating simple textures for 3D characters and props
•Arranging and utilizing lighting and shaders in the unity engine to create a polished finished product
•Working alongside the director and concept artists to create a consistent creative voice
•Troubleshooting unity issues alongside technical consultant

We are looking for:
•1-2 years experience in unity

•Experience in Blender or Maya and asset

•Calgary or Alberta based is a plus
