On May 4th, 1984, the Quickdraw Animation Society went from an informal group of animation-loving local weirdos, to a legally incorporated group of animation-loving local weirdos.

Our thanks go out to everyone who’s spent the last 36 years making Quickdraw the special place that it is today. Every artist, student, visitor and fan who’s come through our doors has left a mark in one way or another, and it wouldn’t be Quickdraw without all of you.

So, happy birthday Quickdraw! Here’s to 36 years as Calgary’s home for animation.
