Due to the ongoing closure of Quickdraw’s studios during the COVID-19 pandemic, the AGM will once again be held online over Zoom. We will be sending you an email with the meeting agenda and Zoom link closer to the AGM date, but as always, it’ll be a chance for you to find out what’s been happening at Quickdraw over the past year, and an opportunity to hear from the QAS board, or consider running for the board yourself. We’ll also be presenting our audited financial statements for the 2020-21 year.

All Quickdraw members are welcome to attend the AGM, but according to our bylaws, in order to vote on motions at the meeting you’ll need to be sure you have an up-to-date membership that was purchased at least 30 days before the meeting. If you’re unsure of your current membership status, feel free to ask us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Again, though, this only affects voting, and you’d still be able to attend and ask questions either way.

If you aren’t able to attend and want to assign your vote to someone else, you can assign it by proxy to another member by sending us a note that includes your signature, the member’s signature, and the date of the AGM. If you have any questions about that process, please let us know.

One last note: We know online meetings can present barriers to attendance for some of our members. If you need any accommodations to take part in the AGM, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can try to make arrangements. The AGM is when all of our members can contribute to the direction of our organization and we want to be sure that anyone who wants to take part can take part.
