Jean François, or JF to his fans, has been a QuickKid and camp instructor with Quickdraw for years and years. Loved by all of his students for his exceptional knowledge of animation and open-ended teaching techniques, JF has animated for several shorts, notably Mr. Reaper’s Really Bad Morning. Accompanying him, we are introducing Toby Duska into our instructor pool. Toby has been a part of QuickKids as a student, and after aging out became a dedicated volunteer and we are so proud to allow Toby to join the instructing side. **CANCELLATION POLICY**

We appreciate that people’s plans and circumstances can change, and that sometimes it will be necessary to cancel your registration in a course. However, since our classes are so small, last-minute cancellations can be very difficult for us to deal with—we need time to make sure that we can reach out to members on the waiting lists for the classes, and to be sure that we have the minimum enrolment we need to run each class.

Students will receive a full refund on fees paid for courses or camps that are cancelled by the student at least two weeks in advance of the first day of class. If a course or camp is cancelled by the student within two weeks of the first day of class, Quickdraw will retain a processing fee of 25% of the full cost of the course. If a course or camp is cancelled by the student after the first day of class, Quickdraw will retain a processing fee of 50% of the full cost of the course, or a pro-rated amount based on the number of classes already completed if the course is more than half finished. That said, please let us know if there are any circumstances we should know about in working out a refund.

In the event that Quickdraw needs to cancel the course, whether due to COVID-19 precautions or other circumstances, students will have their choice of receiving a pro-rated refund based on the number of classes completed, retaining that amount as a credit towards future courses, or donating that amount to Quickdraw as a charitable contribution.
